Looking to upgrade my current PC.

Current Build:
AMD FX-8320 (OC'd to 4.2Ghz)
ASUS 970 Pro Gaming Aura MOBO
DDR3 RAM 16GB RAM
AMD MSI R470 4GB (GPU)
Sandisk 250gb SSD


Current Games played:
World of Warcraft
and eventually going back to FF14.


What i'm looking to upgrade from:

FX-8320 CPU
ASUS 970 Pro Gaming Aura MOBO
DDR3 RAM (16GB)


What i'm looking to go to:

Either an i3-8300 or the i3-8350k just in case I do plan on overclocking.

Budget: 400$ USD max.

Basically, i'm looking to go from AMD back to Intel.

All I need is the MOBO / RAM / CPU and maybe a CPU cooler i'm not quite sure yet.
I am currently running the Corsair H55, which has done me very well for the past 2-3 years with no overheating issues, even with the current 8320 OC'd at a stable 4.2ghz.


Any and all help would be appreciated!

You would get more benefit from a good upgrade tbh unless u really need better cpu power

WoW is the main coarse for my pc and the 8320 just isnt cutting it anymore.
Main reason for just wanting the cpu upgrade.
The gpu will come at a later date.

I'd either stay with what you got, till you have better funds...or go with this, minimum...

im go used (craigslist/offer up) and see if anyone is willing to sell their mobo/cpu/ram combo
any 6th,7th gen i5 is the goal for you here
