If the only thing you wanna do is playing WoW you could save a lot of cash buying a used system.

I've built in the SPEC-02 case. Wasn't a pleasure at all, no room for cable management.
Go for something like a Phanteks eclipse p300s/p400s.

Phanteks P350x and NZXT h500 are the easiest to build cases under $70 IMO.

Don't ever buy a motherboard that costs less than say $100. You're just asking for trouble.

Noted. I will check out some reviews. Haven't really updated my knowledge on cases the past few months, these most be quite new?

Both my Ryzen 1700 system are running on sub 100$ motherboards.
I don't even think there is any micro-atx board above 100$, at least not around the time I bought the one for my server build. (built in Node 804 which doesn't accept ATX boards)
The one for the mini-itx editing build was on sale. I think it was slightly above 100$ without the discount.

I've even done overclocking, undervolting, updated BIOS four times on each motherboard since release.
Even got random a dummy SATA Controller in the server. Plus the server been running 24/7 for 8751 hours. There have been A LOT of load on it.

The only thing that really gets added on the more expensive boards is better mosfets, which really only matter if you're actually overclocking an 8core to like 3.8+ ghz on all cores, and aesthetics like RGB, I/O covers, etc.
Unless you're overclocking a flagship processor (R7 2600[x] or 8700k), you really don't need to buy the higher end boards.

duly agreed

Motherboards back in the old days, there would be huge difference on cheap and expensive motherboards. Today they have to keep a standard.

100-200w are fine.
Any 500-600W would do the job. The Evga 550W G2 for 50$ is a steal!

Doesn't that thing only have like a 2 year warranty???
/e just looked up, 3yr parts, 2yr labor... Really low for a gold rating psu IMO.
/e @ op, fill out the sticky and we can give you more tailored builds.
