Ok so I decided to hold off on upgrading for some time.


Current video card is a gtx 770 2 gigs however it has what I need two dvi ports and an HDMI port.


I'm still running fx 8350 16 gigs of ram and I'm pretty sure it's only pci expresses 2.0

Looking for a new card .. price limit is 300$

Question 1

Will HDMI to dvi converters drop my frame rate? 2 of my 30 inch screens are dvi only one is HDMI.

I would wait a bit. The 2080's are coming out possibly as early as this Monday. W/e they DO come out, the prices of the earlier cards will drop.
