So I Wanna get away from gaming on a consol. I'd like to start up on pc since it's clearly alpha. Not sure if I can even build somthing worth while on such a low budget but I figured I'd ask anyways.

More specific use (what games, what programs): thing like path of exile, fortnite, d3 etc. Probably a little streaming if possible.

Well ideally I'd like to have more but for my current budget that's about all I can do. I'd like to get it asap but things happen in life. Baby on the way so I'm lucky enough to have somthing extra to spend atm. Just said end of the year as I'm not really in a rush to buy it.

Look at craigslist. I almost got an identical build to what was suggest on d2jsp for about 300 less then retail.

This will be a good place to start. The integrated graphics will be enough to handle esports games on high, and most other games at around 1080p medium. All you'd have to do to make this a decent high fps or high res gaming machine would be a nice graphics card down the road and maybe an SSD depending on the kinds of games you play.
/e for the windows key, use kinguin or E-bay, saves money, works just as good.
