Disclaimer: I'm in business and am not a developer - need something to handle massive excel files, so rip Mac's.

Don't really have a budget in mind, am just curious about what you guys recommend. I will need this to work with 2-3 monitors at work via a docking station as well as be portable. I'm looking at X1 Carbon 6th gen right now but someone recommend the Dell Precision.

I currently have a Samsung ATIV Pro 9 but I desperately need more than 8GB of ram and I can't upgrade this. My excel hangs everytime I recalculate and it only smoothly works with one external monitor.

I use a Dell xps 9560 for work. Lots of excel work and I use 3 monitors with the TB16 docking station for it. Love it so far! And it looks sleek and professional.
