What would be the point in building one and what could I use it for outside of Bit mining?

A learning process. After all the rasp pi's are development boards.

I mean you can use them for a shitty web page or use them to run formula's.
But really people that build clusters with pi's do it learn about clusters. Additionally
its far cheaper with pi's vs running real pc's in tandem.

Low energy consumption, small, easy to move, etc.
