Hey everyone been a while since ive built a computer or looked at hardware wondering if you guys have any suggestions on what I could upgrade

Im thinking CPU or GPU needs an upgrade leaning more toward CPU being the bigger problem but might have to upgrade my motherboard to get a newer one.

My current poop machine

Budget: Would like to spend under 300 but if its a bit more ill consider it
More specific use (what games, what programs): Mostly playing wow,Triboxing d3,poe,ARK while streaming
Planned time until purchase: depends if better stuff is coming an stuf will go on sale i guess
Do you need an Operating System?: no
Do you have any specific preferred components?: no
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: no
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: plan to reuse my current cpu cooler
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: no
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): L4N 5k8 ( Canada Ontario)

You should probably just build a new comp, but...

What you want is not even remotely realistic with $300 CAD.

save up money maybe sell ur current parts (or as whole) and get a new build.

that mobo doesn't give much to work off from upgrades and ur current cpu may be a bottleneck for a new gpu. but what you have atm is a descent combo probably for most games and can hold u off a while if ur patient. that build was probably really good years ago.

The platform your CPU is on is 6 years old, they don't make new parts for it anymore. You're GPU is better than what you would be able to get for $200 new, so no point in upgrading.

If you just need the tower for streaming those games listed, https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/nsPW4q

You could buy a used mobo for cheap and buy a g4560 which will be an improvement and allow you to upgrade later gpu/cpu.
While it is a tad older tech its still relevant and gives you an upgrade path on the cheap.

Here is the one I gave you with Canada prices... https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/YCbbhq ...it'll be faster than what you have, but it's really wasting money on a dead platform.

Here is a more modern build...

AMD: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/jPGzfH

Intel: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/G2VyvV ...or https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/RvZJV6 ...just changed the CPU, depending on whether you want the 8700K or the 8600K

/e Either of these will annihilate the computer you have.
