I am building a new PC I already bought asrock b360m pro4 mobo with i5 8400 cpu

the mobo details says upto 2666 MHz RAM but my question is can I buy higher than that and still use it? I have found a deal where the 3200 MHz is cheaper than 2666 MHz both of them are CL15

the RAM is on sale and only 1 pack of 2x8gb is left in stock so I am in a rush if anyone can let me know faster

Buy the better ram. Worst case scenario it performs the same for less money.

this.
though if its actually CAS 15 at 3200mhz you could tighten the timings and no matter what end up with better ram.
