Here is what I have picked out.
Any recommendations on this list?
Plan on getting a second gpu soon but this is what I have chosen so far.

u already got that case?
no need to overpay for that motherboard for the full RGB, unless that's ur intention. Though if you wanted rgb, you shoulda got rgb case/ or ram etc too.
Otherwise i'd just get a nice black/white build, the A board is good and also has a bit of rgb if needed
dont overpay for outdated 850 ssd when you can 860 for cheaper or even mx500
avoid 3gb 1060
no need to overpay for corsair's power supply when you can get similar quality if not better for cheaper.
no idea what your intentions are so im only helping based on the link u provided

Sorry should have posted intentions.
I want to make a pc that can handle wow on max settings. Never had something hat has gone over medium. Want it to last a couple years if possible. I usually run two wow games at once so I’m hoping to at least get decent from two games and a few random little things in the background at once.
E/ I bought the case on sale already so just need to fill it up.

i think that 8700k would be hard overkill for that intention

also, u won't really use that i7 for real purpose with that gpu

my suggestion

i5 8600k + 1060 6gb

more balanced rig

I would agree, but there's nothing else to upgrade by saving $ from 8700 to 8600. Unless he wants to go 8600 and 1070, but that's overkill for WoW, especially when gpu prices are OP at the moment.

So. I know it would be overkill but I’m hoping to last a few expansions with it. Is the i7 vs i5 really that drastically different that the price would be that detrimental? I may even enjoy other games in the future so I can’t say that this will only forever be for Warcraft.

TL;DR
This build will play wow max settings 100+ fps at 1080p no problem.

An i7 is overkill for gaming unless you're really trying to push framerates (200+), and even then it's game dependent. The i5 here will do just as well for WoW, and save you almost $100. The cooler and mobo it's paired with will allow for some moderate overclocking as well a few years down the road (or now if you really want, but not worth it imo)
Newer, more efficient CPU cooler. The 212 is good, the H7 is better; probably the best single tower CPU cooler.
Strix is overkill unless you just want RGB. The one I have in there still have decent heatsinks on the mosfets, lots of fan headers, etc.
Ram is ram. Any name brand with high speeds will have the same performance in single/dual channel applications (quad channel is only supported by HEDT processors and chipsets)
Saved a bit on the SSD, it will perform just as well. You're never going to notice a difference in load times compared to a Samsung gaming.
6gb >>>> 3gb, mostly because most games require 2-3gig minimum, so you fill up quick at 3g. Also, you can only SLI with 1070 or higher end cards, and at that price it's just cheaper to buy a 1080.
Case wasn't in stock, plus the one I linked will have better filters, better cable management, and overall better build quality.
500 watts will be plenty for this, considering it only takes about 300 to run the components.
