First build, assumed I could just transfer all of my storage ssd/hdd easily over and keep on going. I learned that was incorrect

I am ready to use the computer and want some opinions of people much smarter and more experienced than me on this topic

1. Windows 10 Walmart - 110.00 expensive but simpler and done
2. Linux - free, never used it
3. Basically any windows alternatives. They sell product keys all over internet but I have never done it and nervous.

I just want to be able to play wow and from what I read you can do it with some work arounds on Linux. This was supposed to be a budget build which kind of hurts the idea of spending another unplanned 100

Is there a generally trusted source?

Is OEM windows 10 a good idea? I don't see offers on anything very trusted for under 100 itself.

The ones I have seen are like 25.00 from some random online site
