im pretty stupid when it comes to figuring out what cards are actually decent, and for what price, etc.

also, do these things even work? https://www.***ca/itm/for-NVIDIA-GTX970-Video-Graphics-Card-Game-Graphics-Card-192Bit-DVI-PC-HD-Video/132451048045?hash=item1ed6b29a6d:g:w0kAAOSwMK9aR0AG

but anyways, im trying to upgrade from a hd 7750. My budget is $150 CAD, looking to hopefully get something shipping from within canada, but if not its all good.

we need to know your psu wattage.
But the mobo should support it either way, as to whether or not you'll experience a bottle neck is totally dependant on your cpu.

There's plenty of points to upgrade ms debbie downer. For example, in the used market (which im looking at), theres an individual selling a 650 ti for 50 bucks, which i know is better than my card im just looking for the best noticible upgrade for my price range.
