I want to setup a streaming PC using my old gaming PC for my kids. This will be streaming console games only. think I’ll need to upgrade my CPU to a newer i7 and mobo. I want to keep this as cheap as possible. I basically wana keep my current setup and just upgrade those parts as I think the rest of my setup will suffice. I have an elgato hd60 I’m gonna use.

My current build is win7, 16gb 2133 ram, i5 2500k, ASrock z68 extreme3 lga1155, gtx 960, 750w ps, 212+ Evo cooler

Budget is flexible but as cheap as possible ofc.

I have an elgato HD60.

I used to stream a bit. Now with their software it constantly crashes. Tried reinstalling ect and still no go. Their requirements increased with the updated software.
