Since I have a pretty pricey build going on, I decided to not go cheap on the monitor.

Looking for some insight on a monitor under 900 dollars that supports nvidia 1080 ti at 4k/144hz (IPS)

Can be 27-34 "

Yea thats why i asked because I don't see many good quality ones out for any reasonable price atm, but i don't want to prolong this build too much longer.

Most say "Q1" of 2018 sigh.
Probably going to release at 1500+ dollars anyway.

I already have a Yamakasi 1440p and have loved its performance and quality over the past few years but, Definitely upgrading to 4k for this build no doubt. Just unsure on what panel to get.

Why would I need SLI if im getting a 1080 ti?

It shouldn't have any problems on a light overclock handling 4k up to 60 or so frames.

I do want to have the option to upgrade to SLI in the future If i want though.

I wont match the refresh rate in maxed out New games, but I can with other things when i want to.
It's having the option for movies and other games at 144hz which is making me want to go that route.'

Regardless though if they are over 1000 then I'll decline.

Movies play at like 24fps
1080ti at 4k isn’t that great
Telling you buy the 1440
And wait for the monitors
When they aren’t the price of a Kia

price of a kia LOL

I'll do more research for the next few hours and further my decision.

If it's too unrealistic then I'll subside to a 60 hz 4k monitor, but it being 4k is already decided otherwise I wouldn't bother getting a 1080ti.
Thanks for the insight though, much appreciated.

For anyone who finds it intresting, There was a release of the new 144hz at CES

Here's a peak in a review video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xk_TNiSJ1X0

Sucks that If i want one im going to have to prolong this build even longer.
