Hi there,

I'm looking to build my first computer, my last one was built by someone else in 2010 and has had a good run. It's not quite dead yet :-p.

I'm located in Canada and not in a HUGE rush to buy all the parts now, so I can keep an eye on a part and wait for a sale. Looking to build in April/May likely.

Budget:
Maximum you will spend? - $1500 with tax would be ideal, but not concrete.
Will you complete mail in rebates? - I could, assuming you don't need to jump through any hoops.
If so, may we go over-budget if rebates bring you within budget? - Sure
Do you need Windows Operation System within budget? - I would need Windows 10, I hear there is a gaming mode feature that makes the game #1 priority and others like Chrome 2nd for processing power?
Need a Monitor? / Mouse? / Keyboard within budget? - nope

Basic Info:
Specific Uses (Programs, game titles etc.) - Adobe Photoshop, Games (currently are SC1 and D2), I will want to play PUBG, WoW, LoL, etc. or any other future games that come out at pretty good settings. Not wanting to re-make another computer in 3-4 years.
Country? - Canada
Will you travel to NCIX (canada) or Microcenter (USA) for parts? (Null if unsure) - Looks like NCIX delivers?

How much hard drive space do you want or need? - 1TB is more than enough. I definitely want to load the OS and common programs like Chrome etc on a SSD... that's one reason I want to upgrade is the quickness of the SSDs from what I hear
Will you use wireless or wired internet? - Wired, but need a wireless card as well for Chromecast etc.
Will you overclock CPU and/or GPU? - Nope.
Any special requests or useful things to tell us? (Specific case, need lots of storage, audio etc.) - I live in an apartment currently and I know my current computer is super ass dusty as it's quite dry in the winter and humid in the summer (hot), so not sure if I would need an extra fan to keep all components cool?

Style (optional)
Do you prefer any specific colors for the build/computer case? - Black is fine
Do you prefer a window on your case? - Prefer not actually since it will be in our main room and look obnoxious, but whatever is likely cheaper
*(Please note how picky you will be with colors. Sometimes it's just not feasible to get some colors on certain parts)*

if you want it for gaming and photoshop, i dont think youd need to upgrade much else in this build for a while :s

.. slightly over budget. but heh, who knows, some items may become cheaper over the next few months?

Hmm thanks. Some of that stuff looks pretty pricey, I read that ram and vid cards are quite high at the moment..

I'll wait to see what others would recommend.

When u think about upgrading, just buy a watercooler and overclock cpulupgrade gpu

:)

/E 1600 is same as 1800x, just higher bin. Overclcok results are the same.
And don't get a bronze PSU over a gold one at the same price. Especially since they're both recognized names.

Thanks.

The case said there may be any issue?

If you were to spend another $200 on something (total), what would you upgrade further?

Three options here.
#1) watercooler so you can overclock (small overclock is fine, don't have to go all out)
#2) larger SSD if content creation is your main thing (saw Photoshop mention)
#3) gtx 1070 instead of the gtx 1060.

Listed them in order. Would personally do watercooler, then gpu, then sad. But I game 99% of the time.

Case issue just means you have to remove some drive bays (no worries there, just put the drive in another bay) a bay is where the hard drive sits.
