Hey there guys, so I've been playing alot of League of Legends, and Path of Exile on my PC made from older parts from friends as they upgraded themselves.

Have a $500-600 budget for this

- AMD Phenom 9650 Quad 2.3GHz
- 5120 MB RAM
- ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series

I'm fairly computer stupid when it comes to hardware, had my friend help me put this Frankenstein's monster together.
Would really like to be able to play both these games on good settings, not necessarily on ultra high but better than low or almost minimum on both games.

Thanks for the help!

your location? canada? usa? europe? to help us with pricing

your cpu~> AM2 - https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103288

and im assuming with this cpu your ram is ddr2.

IMO you should upgrade all of it. we need a shipping location to determine cost/shipping

fill this out:

Budget:
Maximum you will spend? -
Will you complete mail in rebates? -
If so, may we go over-budget if rebates bring you within budget? -
Do you need Windows Operation System within budget? -
Need a Monitor? / Mouse? / Keyboard within budget? -

Basic Info:
Specific Uses (Programs, game titles etc.) -
Country? -
Will you travel to NCIX (canada) or Microcenter (USA) for parts? (Null if unsure) -

How much hard drive space do you want or need? -
Will you use wireless or wired internet? -
Will you overclock CPU and/or GPU? -
Any special requests or useful things to tell us? (Specific case, need lots of storage, audio etc.) -

Style (optional)
Do you prefer any specific colors for the build/computer case? -
Do you prefer a window on your case? -
*(Please note how picky you will be with colors. Sometimes it's just not feasible to get some colors on certain parts)*

Oh sorry failed to add that info!

~$600 budget, willing to go over if it is worth it
I will be completing any mail in rebates, so yes you may go over
Only will need windows OS if new hardware cannot run Win7
No need accessories

Mainly used for League of Legends and Path of Exile
USA
Null

Currently have a 500g SDD
Wired into net
Yes
Green is preferred color, but when we put this monster together I had purchased a new case https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811353057&cm_re=diypc_-_ranger-r4-r_atx_mid_tower_case-_-11-353-057-_-Product

EDIT: RAM, I think the friend i got it from said it was DDR4?

heres a $1000.00 build, which i think is your best option. keep your old case as an emergency backup, but use the ssd out of it for the new rig.

and heres roughly $600 (cpu, motherboard, ram, vid card)

as for your os.. if you still have the oem cd key for your windows 7, you can use it to activate windows 10, it will not be able to be used for windows 7 again though. or you can buy a cheap key on ebay, kinguin, reddit .. and just download the iso from microsoft and mount it to a usb.
