so im debating if it worth the extra 20 on the ryzen 5 1600 that comes with a wraith spire cooler

will that cooler be fine for a modest overclock

or do i need a better cooler

well its core clock is 3.6 on turbo.
You might get 3.7/8 but you won't notice it very much.
evo 212 will get you to 3.9/4.0 though even at 4ghz its like 3-5fps in games.

Ok so leave it stock is basically the same.. everything I rwas as online be says I should oc it with my build but seeing as this is my first build I was unsure 😐 and didn’t know if the wraith spire was capiable of the keeping it cool enough

A simple overclock that isn't pushing too high on voltage isn't a bad thing, but an additional .5 ghz isn't going to make a night an day difference in most games, especially if you're only shooting for 60 fps.

well like i said in my other posts this is my first build i was told overclokcing the ryzen 5 1600 is a good thing in my build itll make major performance differences...

i want to build my tower and then get a mouse/keyboard/monitor

It will make a significant difference in synthetics (benchmarks) or productivity tasks (video rendering), but when it comes to gaming, it will not likely have a noticeable difference unless you are getting below 60 fps in certain games.
