This is what I've come up with:

Since i only play competitive games:
CS:GO
LoL
OW

I don't really need a better graphic card. I'm just trying to reach a nice gaming build at $1150

Thoughts? Anything i should swap/optimize?

I'm really lost on motherboards. Would love to know if that one is decent ^^

Mostly chose it for compatibility

I'd switch to an asus strix board, or prime if strix pushes out of budget. Also switch PSU to evga g3, 550w is fine

Also 7700k runs hot, not sure how good it will be on air.

Really appreciate it

Swapped the i7 for Intel - Core i5-7600K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor, since the games i play doesn't really need the cpu power the i7 brings. Also this should be easier to keep cool :p

Swap it to the i5 8400. It's cheaper and generally performs better than the 7600k.

pretty much tried to keep it close to ur build with some adjustments.
if you wanna spend more $$ and get it closer to 1.1k,
then get the cryorig r1 ultimate cooler or AIO cooler for looks.
Though i'd personally just get a 1060 and call it a day, even if it's overkill for your games cuz it's silly to limit urself to a 1050ti on a 1.1k budget.

Yeah, because buying a z370 mobo ($140) paired with a locked processor is a really good idea

just more drivel, pathetic

Yeah, because getting a 7600k for 210 and ~100 mobo is a better idea. ~20 more for better perf and 2 extra cores, while still under his budget with all the shit he wants.

Y u heff to be still mad?

Because of your profile is disgusting and should be removed, also poorly reflects on you as a human being

I recommend getting the 8600k if you can, so you can take advantage of your z370 mobo :) it's also cheaper than the 7700k and is an absolute monster in performance

but it's not available... You can get the 8400 but mind you, you're paying (useless money) for a board that cannot take advantage of the locked 8400

now that i think of it, you could buy the 8400 now, and then sell it and then get the 8600k later? however, i really commend just waiting for availability trying to get the 8600k

lel

Both builds fine, 7700k = faster single core, 8400 is faster multicore

I've always favored getting faster single core speed (4 core min) over 6 core at slower speed cause you'll end up upgrading the graphics card sooner than you would a cpu/mobo. and games don't favor 6 cores just yet.
