Hello i'm currently considering to buy a laptop.
Tops at 700-800 Euros

My desktop is the follow

Asus z170-a
i5 6500
16gigs of ram
nvidia gtx 960 4gb

I'm fine with its perfomance so far.
So i'd like to buy a laptop which would be somewhat close to my dekstop.

I'm currently considering that one

But processor is a lil bit old and also way much overpriced than the i5 7200U
Which some benchmarking sites got them as equals.
Should i go for 6300HQ or the newer low cost 2core i5 are nearly the same?

Laptops costs like 2x than desktops to be comparable and even then it performs worse.
So a 700 laptop wont be close To ur desktop build.plus battery and heat issues overtime.

Yeah i know that mate.
I aint wanna replace my desktop with my laptop but inwant something that doesnt hang up easily like the last gen i3 we use at work.
Battery is not a problem since ill use it only in work or gfs home so ill be always close to a power outlet

GTX 950M and GTX 960 are really far from each other in performance.

The 6300HQ is more powerful in task with multiple core usage.
I also believe an SSD is a most in laptop and desktops today.

If you are buying it for gaming you should see if you can get an GPU with pascal series.
