Building my first pc and am wondering if i can use one vga cable for 6 + 8 pin gpu, or should i run 2 separate cables. The vga cable has 1x 6+2 pin and 1x 6 pin
Psu is 650w evga g2
GPU is 1080 rog strix

The Y cable is rated to run upto 2x 8pins. So actually 300W total. A 8+2 + 6 pin is only 225w. So you totally fine using that one cable for it.
