Hello fellow D2JSP community! I am in search of a new computer and I am completely lost in where to even begin. I've had many computers in the past and my current one is by far the cheapest I've ever owned. Check the link down below (Bought mine for around the same price $290-$350)

https://www.amazon.com/Asus-Laptop-i3-3217U-1-8GHz-15-6in/dp/B00IPQR9QY

As you can see this is a very basic laptop and works fine for word processing, browsing the web, and I can even play Diablo 2 fairly well on it.

Now for what I'm looking for, I have about $700 USD to spend on a new computer potentially more if it's worth the extra money. I'm now a YouTuber and like editing videos but this basic laptop has a really hard time with editing videos on my video editor. I think because it doesnt have a graphics card it struggles a bit when playing the chopped up clips together. Once they're all finished into a movie I can see what I edited perfectly but until then I'm editing fairly blind if i'm doing jump cuts. I should also add that I want a desktop computer. My fiance is getting into blogging and would be using this as her workstation to make blogs and edit photos for her blog.

TL:DR

Need a new comp mines basic and older, ISO Desktop that can edit video well and lady can do her blog/photo editing. $700-$800 limit.

Thanks guys!

Thank you so much! Building it might be beyond my skill set. Do they put it together for a fee?

Or do you recommend a prebuilt PC on Amazon, Best Buy, newegg or whatever? I'll donate some FG for help. Thanks.

building it is like leggos for adults.
if you ever did that, then it's the same thing ;)

just be mindful not to touch the green board if you don't have to :)

i definitely don't recommend a prebuilt. they screw you with lower end parts.

here is something closer to $800, all the upgrades/changes I made are worth it in my eyes

If you really do not want to build your own, usually ur local computer shop will charge you like 20-50 to build it for you. Still ends up being cheaper than buying prebuilds for the quality you get
