Hi all,

I am planning on upgrading my current PC. Below is what I had planned after some preliminary research (not an expert by any means). I am offering FG for any suggestions/improvements that I decide to go with.

Looking to keep it under $2,000. Games I play / plan to play: Elder Scrolls Online, Skyrim, PUBG, Dishonored 2, Fallout 4, Vampyr. I have 1440P 144Hz monitor

I have Amazon credit card, so was thinking of purchasing through Amazon to get money back. I am open to other places though, if prices would be noticeably cheaper

Motherboard: Asus Maximus IX Hero

CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K

cryorig cpu fan
better case imo, something that wont have any clearance issues, radiator size problems in near future if u ever plan on having it etc.
definitely avoid that psu and go for superflower (g2/3) or seasonic (gs) oems from evga

The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo will NOT fit in a Corsair 100R case.

The Corsair 200R is the case you want. Or bigger...like the 300R

/e The biggest CPU heatsink that will fit in the 100R case is 150mm height.

/e Secksii is right about the power supply as well. You would want a G2 or a G3 or a GS....not a G1

PSU: https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-Modular-Warranty-220-G2-0750-XR/dp/B00IKDETOW

CPU cooler that will fit: https://www.amazon.com/CRYORIG-Tower-Cooler-Intel-CPUs/dp/B00S7YA5FQ

Here...

You can change the vendor to Amazon if you want, but then the price will go up.
