So I'm going to be moving to a somewhat remote area, and I'm going to be limited to cable Internet. Which is not actually any different from the dsl I have now. But anyways, it's going to be just me most of the time, and I mostly stay in my room. So with that being said I don't feel it necessary to have wifi to the whole house, but was was curious of the best router for mostly lan line with lite wifi use in my room.

100 Mbps data plan
I'll have the router in my room via coax, and ethernet to my pc, and wifi for tablet and phone.

Fits your needs perfect. The only minus on this router is each ethernet port only supports 100mbps (which if perfectly fine if you do not have something like a NAS on your network). You can get the C5 instead of C50 and get a similar one with 1gbps ports for 15bucks extra.

Thank you so much man, exactly the answer I was looking for. But curious, since it's wifi and lan, the network is divided. Meaning I wouldn't use the full 100Mbps from my isp anyways. So the one you suggested is perfect, and I wouldn't even be able to use the extra bandwidth limitation from the other one.
