First off i am from New Zealand i made a post a week ago about a specific rig i saw that was at auction on our ebay equivalent called Trademe however i have decided to make my first rig.
Now as some may know NZ prices are probably some of the highest in the world so what you consider to be a average item could well be 500-700 NZD possibly.
Best way to use as a check for price guides is http://pricespy.co.nz/

I have decided on a ASUS VG248QE 24' Monitor (it seems to be the most reasonable priced 1ms 144hz monitor in NZ for the price around $400-$500) this actually cost $499 ! its crazy expensive in NZ like i stated.

The tech expo im going to have some major sponsors coming and there definately will be discounts across the board so im assuming i will save around 10-15% of the total rig so that could be used to purchase a 2nd monitor or even if you could leave a medium/high prices combination could be appreciated.

Budget: $2200 - $2300 USD (around $3,000 NZD)
all of the peripherals cost about $1,000 so in reality i would have $2,000 NZD for the actual rig itself.
More specific use (what games, what programs): Gaming (Pubg,h1z1,cod fps kind of games)
Planned time until purchase: i plan to go to a tech expo in NZ on 12th August so about 11 days until then)
Do you need an Operating System?: yes (windows 10)
Do you have any specific preferred components?: SSD for windows and pubg at least 1-2 TB HDD, Razor deathadder elite gaming mouse, Razor blackwidow ultimate 2016 stealth keyboard & logitech G933 so effectively all my peripherals are accounted for as i feel they are what i would like to have in my build.
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: dont no do i ? im using my headphones 100% of the time.
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: don't no what overclocking is doing but will look into this at the same time.
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: yes (as above i would like the following) Razor deathadder elite gaming mouse, Razor blackwidow ultimate 2016 stealth keyboard & logitech G933 & ASUS VG248QE 24' monitor (its $499 in NZ! literally the most affordable 1ms 144hz and great reviews).
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): only using New Zealand sites (mightyape.co.nz, pctech to name a few by using pricespy it will show the best priced place to purchase from and im willing to buy from any of the companys that shows found nationwide (NZ).

anything else i can help with just post, thanks ahead for any assistance, i've attempted to do my own reserve with the help from a few of my guild mates but i dont see any reason not to post the hardware parts as i have no clue about them and i think even with 10-20 hours of watching reviews over the next 2 weeks i could have this answered by the great help of people on this forum who are willing to help a noob out.

Regards,
ZEALand

For UK, Canada and US i always use pcpricepicker.com but damn the stock and price in there is messed up, so check some price check databases to see if you can find similar items cheaper
But DAMN I thought the 20-25% price increase here in Denmark sucked because of the 20% government tax.

CPU: I5-7600k, I5-7700k
Cooler: 240-280mm AIO cooler like corsair h100-h115 series, nzxt kraken x52, x62 etc.
Motherboard: Z270 chipset, preferable Asus > Gigabyte > MSI
RAM: 2x8GB DDR4 RAM, Aim for 3000+ MHz
SSD: 250-275GB SSD Samsung evo 750 or 850 or Crucial MX300. If you find some great deal on an other brand post it in here.
GPU: GTX 1070. Asus Strix, Msi Gaming X, Gigabyte G1, EVGA SC or FTW/2
Case: Pretty much anyone you like, I currently like Phanteks - ECLIPSE P400 the most.
PSU: Man it's over double price. But preferable EVGA G2, G3 or GS. Corsair RMx or if you do not find an fair price on any of these go for EVGA bronze i picked out.

I personally recommend you staying away from Razer. Had bad experience with 3 of their products. And most I know who had Razer has changed brand since.
Pretty much just eye catching products, with poor quality materials. If I only knew better when I was younger.

This post will most likely set off some AMD Ryzen vs Intel. I do believe in this case where you are only talking about pretty much FPS games and high refresh rate, you would be more glad for a higher frequency CPU and slightly better IPC.
Maybe also some Razer fans and haters talk as well.

It will yield better performance for his needs.
like 1300$ US is not really a costly build.

Not like a 7600k will bottleneck a GTX 1070 in any way.
An amd ryzen 1600 could also be an option, but when we are talking pretty much only FPS games.
I do myself recommend AMD Ryzen is most cases, when people wanna edit and stream. But this is for pure gaming. Where you can't deny an OC'd 7600k will perform better in this scenario.

iirc hitman and battlefield are both shooters but they easily utilize more than 4 threads to their advantage

In what universe is a 7700k out of budget for a $1500 usd build?
6700k is better anyway if he's not delidding. Temps are too insane on the kaby lake when overclocking regardless of cooler. IPC is the same so no reason not to.

it's more like 1300$ USD. It's almost twice the price in NZ.

Here's the request AMD Ryzen build. Won't look as beauty if that's a selling point.

Way better multi core score, better future proofing. Will yield lower FPS in some of the mentioned games.
