Can someone link me to a picture where all the holes are on the motherboard that need to be screwed to the case.

The 7 holes with the tiny starburst around them. One screw in each.
You should have a one standoff under each screw hole...no more, no less.

i left one out but i read it can cause issues short circuiting if the motherboard hits the case

hence why i freaked out and posted this lol

you only need like 3 standoffs min
hell with my old lga 775 i used 2 standoffs, 1 on each corner and it ran fine for years

If the motherboard has 7 holes, it needs 7 screws.

/e The reason for all the screw holes is to keep the motherboard from "flexing" (and killing the motherboard), when you put in things like vid cards, RAM sticks, CPU coolers...etc.
