should be able to run newer games flawlessly
want to be able to watch streams while playing games/watch movie streams at the same time
would love to have this the next 5+ years if possible lol
budget 700-1k
oh and an ssd and proper wifi wud be nice >.<
no more than ~15" pls

i'm looking for something prebuilt since idk how all that works and i don't have time to read into it + i need this the upcoming week
win 8+ pls

willing to donate some should i end up buying a suggested one.
personally i was thinking about that lenovo legion or an asus but wud like someone to guide me through this ^^

is there anything else u wanna know just lmk :)

as far as i know there's no atx-like standard for notebooks? so they're always gonna be pre-built..

of a mobo
you can custom make laptops
or else be no options when buying

i don't think you're understanding my post. Most laptops are not open platforms at all. Everything except the storage solution and sometimes the RAM is soldered to the motherboard and gives you no option to change it, but even the most prebuilt of prebuilt alienware pc's is an open platform that can be stripped down and modified to any specification.

That's why I don't understand why OP felt the need to single out prebuilt notebooks when there's no ATX-like standard for laptops that would facilitate the existence of an open platform anyway.
Aside from some 'kits' which only take a limited range of proprietary hardware offered by the same vendor that provided the chassis, every notebook is prebuilt.
