Budget: $1500-$2000 CAD
Maximum you will spend? - $2200
Will you complete mail in rebates? -Sure
If so, may we go over-budget if rebates bring you within budget? -Sure
Do you need Windows Operation System within budget? - Can I get Win7 free? If not, then yes I will
Need a Monitor? / Mouse? / Keyboard within budget? - I will need a keyboard and potentially a monitor. The keyboard I will look for myself. Throw a monitor on outside of the budget. Even an ultrawide if you want. I have a 28" monitor currently. Would you guys recommend me buy a good monitor for my main one and a meh one for the 2ndary monitor?

Basic Info:
Specific Uses (Programs, game titles etc.) - Gaming only. (Playing Runescape 3, League of Legends, Minecraft(Will be using mods so must be able to run them smoothly))
Country? - Canada
Will you travel to NCIX (canada) or Microcenter (USA) for parts? (Null if unsure) - Yes

How much hard drive space do you want or need? - However much I'll need. 1tb? I don't have any photos or music or movies so even my laptop with 250GB isn't even full.
Will you use wireless or wired internet? - Both. Mainly wireless until I get my own place and will swap over to wired.
Will you overclock CPU and/or GPU? - Nope, no concept of this; just want something that can push games to decent graphics.
Any special requests or useful things to tell us? (Specific case, need lots of storage, audio etc.) - I would like a case that is slick. Preferably white or black with an offset colour.

All I mainly want is a computer that can run my games on max settings with no FPS issues. I'm tired of gaming on 20FPS. The biggest game I struggle with is Minecraft as I am getting into the modded side. I would like to game in 1440p if possible.

I've had these suggestions given to me so far; just wondering if they're still solid contenders:

Mostly from Amazon/Newegg. Chose a slick case, though it's personal preference so lmk if you don't like the look of it, and i'll recommend few other quality cases you can choose from.
The case is black, with your choice for offset color as it's RGB, includes an rgb strip as well.
Tempered glass on the side to show off your build, and it won't hurt your eyes. The CPU cooler, motherboard, rams are also RGB.
feel free to change the GPU to 1080ti if you want, but for your needs.. everything is overkill with your budget.

I'd recommend an ultrasharp monitor, the games you play are perfect for it too.

I trimmed some stuff down. Went into a PC store and was advised the 1080 is overkill for what I'd be using it for. It would be more worth my time to invest the money in a good mobo and PSU. Also was advised to change the RAM as I don't care much for RGB etc. Will most likely have a closed case anyways to keep things sleek.

E/ will most likely pull the trigger on this soon as Ryzen having a sale on CPU
E// Does anyone know if the mobo has an onboard wifi port?

overpaying a bit for similar mobo is fine, but i suggest you pick a different 1070 with better cooling design.
also, for rams you can decide

any will work fine though since ur mainly playing minecraft.
However when you're spending close to 2k CAD budget, i'd want a nice lookin build with top notch perf rather than just a meh one to save a lil
otherwise, the build's fine. Much better than the original 4 links

I ended up grabbing DDR 4 2400 mhz corsair vengeance 2x 8gb. Did I make a smart purchase or should I look to return it? Again, I don't play games that are too heavy on the oc

E/ I was also considering getting a temporary gpu until the hype of etherium mining goes away (2 months or so) then buy a 1080 or 1070 for the normal price. Smart or dumb idea? Still very new to this so I'm learning as I go
