I want to upgrade my pc part by part to save some cash, I'm not looking for some super high end crazy PC to wash my dishes, just one that doesn't go into overdrive playing BF1 or any of the new games on high+
My specs :
AMD FX-8320
8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3
ASUSTeK Computer INC. M5A78L-M LX PLUS (AM3R2)
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon R7 200 Series
931GB Seagate ST1000DM003-9YN162 ATA Device

I will include a cooler master 212 evo late on.

What should I start upgrading without knowing how to build a pc from the ground up?

What monitor(s) are you using (what resolution)?
What exact R7 200 are you running? < Possible upgrade.
How many sticks of RAM do you have? If 2, it should be running dual channel.

An SSD is always a good purchase.

Get a 2nd stick of the exact same RAM, and run your RAM in dual channel.
Get a better vid card.
Get an SSD.

Or....save up and build a better computer.

/e Yes, in your case OCing the CPU would help. BUT, your motherboard will not handle overclocking, very well.

Might want to look into the ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0, if you decide to get into overclocking.

I want to build a better pc but money is tight and a lot of management, I have to move out soon so planning where i'll live plus my budget and maybe doing my driver's license soon which is 1k$ for the whole course. My best course of action is slowly upgrading this one and late on just using the upgraded parts in new pc if that makes sense daddy ghot

You are sort of trapped in a dead end build with the motherboard. That limits what you can do.

/e Here is an idea for upgrade parts...

The RAM, the vid card, and the SSD, would probably help you the most, the soonest.

This would be a current build that would be like lightning, compared to what you have now...

is it pretty straight forward to remove everything from my mobo and put it back onto the new one? my concern is not knowing what to plug where

It's fairly simple...

Might be a smarter move to just get another 8GB stick of RAM (exact same make and model) and a vid card and an SSD. That way you can reuse the vid card and the SSD in a more serious build, later on.

/e The problem here is, that BF1 is a CPU intensive game. The have faster CPUs for your motherboard, but not really much better.

The NEW AMD CPUs (which require new mobo and new RAM), and the Intel CPUs which require the same, are not really in your budget.

The ASUS M5A499FX Pro or EVO (which will work with your current CPU) are much better boards for overclocking. But even getting one of them, will still be a dead end motherboard.
