yeti is a bad recommendation here. it's big selling point is that it's a modestly priced tri-capsule mic with omnidirectional functionality.
if you're using speakers, you'll need to be a bit creative. you'll have to adjust your speaker position to somewhere like the floor, you'll want a unidirectional cardioid mic with a shock mount, and you might even need a microphone shield depending. there's also software solutions you can use like vsthost with reaper plugins, to give you more control over thresholds.
all of that said, "ears... used to it" is a bad reason to continue increasing volume. hearing loss is largely irreparable to the best of my knowledge.
my speakers sit on my desk with my mic. (thats with the sub)
its not hard to adjust volumes.
