trying to get the most out of this rig while making some slight upgrades where needed most.

Operating System
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 > Upgraded to windows 10 pro
CPU
AMD FX-6300 56 °C
Vishera 32nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 803MHz (11-11-11-28)
Motherboard
Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. GA-78LMT-USB3 6.0 (Socket M2) 34 °C
Graphics
LG FULL HD (1920x1080@60Hz)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 (Gigabyte) 54 °C
Storage
931GB Seagate ST1000DM 003-1SB10C SATA Disk Device (SATA) 24 °C > upgraded to 850 evo ssd
15GB Sony Storage Media USB Device (USB)

let me know what you think i need next. some options i thought could be = overclock cpu (may need cooler fan) , get more ram so i can have 16gb

trying to get the most out of this for gaming

What games are.you playing? Depending on the games it may be more beneficial to upgrade graphics card before getting a new CPU cooler and overclocking - I doubt it, but maybe

How much $$ do u have to spend on a gpu if that's the next move?

no budget on GPU, thought the bottleneck would be towards cpu?

im willing to spend 50-150 on one ugprade (nzD$)

edit; games i play are - dota2 - PoE - counter strike

i dont really place intense games like bf4 witcher etc etc. does this matter even with 950 gtx? simplier games like poe and dota

Poe and dota are cpu intensive games

i know poe can be in certain situations (full team with mtx etc) but dota isnt so bad i had an older rig that never lagged for that

just looked up a bit of info on ram and my ram is 8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3

if i change to two 4gb sticks then its dual channel and will increase performance, or get 2 8gb ram sticks
