Whats the for of the pc? Like if you plan to stream might be better to go ryzen.
If you can spring for 3200 memory as thats the sweet spot for price to performance.
Buy additional fans for the case.

Getting a regular SSD instead of a nvme SSD
And
Getting a cheaper Mobo instead of an expensive one

Should allow you to get a 1080/ti over a 1070

/E assuming budget can't move

Gaming / Streaming / Audio editing in Sony Vegas

I really don't want to go with Ryzen, I appreciate what they bring right now but i'm not going with AMD anytime soon untill they prove their new architecture is good in the long run.
I decided to go with the 2400hz one since it's a CL15 with great timing, the 3200hz one have bad timing, what's your tought on this?

As for the fans i'm already planning on buying additional fans

Budget can move but i don't see a point in buying a 1080ti for 1080p/144hz gaming.
I can use this 1070 for 2-3 years to come and than upgrade to a 1170/1270 and play 4k game at 144hz.
I already own a BenQ XL2411Z

Facts are if your going to be streaming the amd chip out shines intel period.
I mean sure you lose a few fps but overall your cpu might get hindered trying to stream higher content.
I don't own a ryzen chip personally but from what I have read and stuff they are not that bad.
I'll admit they over hyped them in the start which is what ruined the name more.

3000/3200 > 2400 Ram. even after the CAS timing considered.
3k = 2fps more / 3.2k is about 3fps more. (these are averages)

Although with ryzen idk how much of the ram issues they fixed so higher ram may be an issue.

/also
penguins right, about utilizing the better gpu over the ssd.
although I wouldn't get an adata personally.

ur use is perfect for ryzen though. You gotta stop being bias and get what's best for your $$$. But if u hate AMD with passion and makes you whole a lot more happy with intel, get an intel. It's your choice in the end, so get what makes you happy. Either CPU can't go wrong for what you wanna do anyway
though if you have like 144hz monitor and need dat extra fps u can get for gaming --> 7700k
if ur more into work that benefit from more cores --> ryzen
