so my computer is 6-7years old, time for an upgrade

what would you think of this setup, anything worth down/upgrading?

What do you use the machine for? Judging from the rest of the hardware you'll gain nothing from opting for an NVMe drive over sata. The main difference is it's much hotter, more expensive, and faster in sequential speed in particular which is not important for the average gayming rig.

Its a 100bucks difference to make it a bit faster on loading no? Im just tired of the slow loading from my old pc

The cooler wont be enough to keep it from throttling i have a 7700k on a h80 at work and 10 min into a stress test and its throttled 20%+

Id get at least a 240 rad aio and a regular evo 850 ssd (plenty fast) and a 2 stick 16gig ram kit so you can upgrade later to 32 if you want.

On monday ill get you some screen shots of it i was extreamly surprised aswell. And its stock not even ocd.

I had it at 5ghz and it throttled within seconds of starting aida64
