This is my buddys computer specs. He wants to play pubg without any lag or anything and has a budget of 300-400$ cad to purchase a new video card. Hopefully his power supply can handle a higher video card as well.

Pubg will lag and be buggy no matter what. Doesn't matter what your computer specs are, you have to run all settings on low...... and there will still be issues

1st, I would recommend upping cpu to a i5-2500k, this can be over clocked to 4.5ghz easy and should work with that board.

As for gpu, i would say a gtx 1050 ti or gtx 1060.

May have to lower selling a bit to get a decent frame rate without getting a newer system.
