My current best option: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?item=2WC-000N-00068

My current second: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834154525

Spending less money would be good, but I want the best bang for my buck. I'd like to get one with an SSD, because who the fuck doesn't have an SSD these days? Why would they sell these things without them... Jesus Christmas. That's why the top one wins out right now.

Aiming for a 1050ti or a 1060, but a 980m would do if the price is right.

If I end up going with your choice over my own, I'll toss you a solid amount of fg. You'll be saving me money anyway.

Thanks guys.

If it was me, I'd get a laptop with a 256GB or 512GB SSD, (no smaller), and with a 1TB HDD.
IMO, 128GB SSD is too small. It CAN be done, but 256GB is the sweet spot.

As for the 1050Ti vs. the 1060...the 1060 is definitely faster.

If you could find something comparable with a larger SSD, sure.

But with the options I've found, I'm not gonna spend an extra $400 to get 128gb larger of an SSD in there. The pricing on these laptops is absolutely retarded.

What about this one guys?

https://www.costco.ca/Acer-Aspire-VX5-591G--54VG-English-Gaming-Notebook,-i5-7300HQ.product.100347535.html

Saves me $300, but Acer isn't exactly in my good books. I haven't owned an Acer product in several years however... How are they regarded these days?

The best thing about this one is a free 2-year warranty.
