I hope you mean "driver" update client.

Anyways, don't use them. At best the just don't work, and worst you'll be re-installing Windows.

The latest motherboard drivers are at the motherboard manufacturer's website.

For the video drivers...

DDU Instructions - Nvidia/AMD
1. Get this program, here: http://www.wagnardmobile.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=144 ...from the "Official Download Here" link, and save it to your desktop.
2. Get your vid card driver here, use the Manual Search: Nvidia: http://www.geforce.com/drivers ...or AMD: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download ...save this to your desktop.
3. Run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) choose: Nvidia or AMD, then choose the "Highly Recommend Option", and just do what it tells you. If it wants to go into "Safe Mode", let it.
4. After it's done and comp has rebooted to normal mode, just double click the Nvidia or AMD driver ( that you saved to your desktop in step #2) ...to install. If it want's to reboot, let it.

/e Btw, if it's a newer motherboard like an AM4 or a Z270, there probably aren't any new drivers ...yet.
For the video card, just follow the directions above.

For that you pretty much have to go by memory.

You should be able to see what version vid driver you have in Task Manager.
The motherboard driver versions are listed in Device Manager, but it's not very clear cut.

Since you just built this computer, why don't you give us a Speccy screenshot. It will be a lot easier that way...

Get SPECCY here: http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download
...get the FREE version from the: Piriform Link
...Speccy is a really nice system hardware/temperature, information Utility.
...simply install it...and run the program...then post a screen shot of the main page of the program, when posting a problem/question on these forums.
