My old wifi adapter (USB) for my Desktop is old and giving me trouble now, considering getting a PCI wifi card rather than another adapter just for less headache on day to day

What I would like to know is...

- are Wifi cards universally compatible as long as a PCI port exists on the motherboard, or do I need to worry about compatibility with brand/graphics card etc

My MOBO: Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard

I have an AC Router (65mbps net) and would like to get an AC card

=> Can someone suggest a decent one for me to buy and if you need more information

Out of those, I would probably go with one of the ASUS ones...

It's .85" thick, so you will need .85" from the center of the PCI-E x1 slot to the back side of your vid card.
