Hello Tech guys

A friend of mine wants to build a new computer. He's from Canada, and has roughly 2-2.500 CAD, roughly top budget 1900 USD.
He only needs the computer, no screens, mouse or keyboard.

He doesn't have d2jsp himself, so i am asking for advice/build ideas for him

This guy doesn't stream, but i shall ask him if there's any specific needs other than gaming

Stream quality actually get a bit better with a ryzen cpu. It's been tested the last few days. And as workstation this is miles better than an 7700k. But for pure gaming currently the ryzen lacks a bit and will yield less FPS because of lower IPC and clock speed.

- there is a slot on the motherboard called m.2. It's pretty much as easy as installing a regular 2.5 ssd.

Okay, so, i see very little difference on these two setups

What i do see tho, is that the one Ghot listed is more expensive, than the other.

Would there really be any performance difference on them, or is there something hidden, like: this part holds better and longer, than that part - ?

The storage he choice is faster. But windows or games would not take advantage of it by loading any faster. WD black is quite noisy if the rest of the system is in idle.
Ghot likes his plain fractal design cases, I really like the newer generations of tempered glass cases. And he always picks an dvdrom where I believe that technology is dead, at least I haven't personally been needing one since diablo 3 release, and even the there is could just have downloaded it from their site and used my key.

Haha actually true. I've been in CHD for over half an year now. I haven't really seen him change up anything.
Pretty much always asus prime, h100 v2, TridentZ will lowest possible cl(even though 1cl shouldn't equal such a price jump), Samsung 850 or 960, WD back, asus strix when tho he says evga have better service, Fractal design case, evga gs and asus dvdrom.

If some one asks for a 800$ budget. BOOM he drops a 1600$ build
