in the market for a new monitor, i want to get something badass. budget is roughly 1 grand. any suggestions?

What do you use your computer for...like gaming (what types of games), or productivity, video editing, etc.? Also what video card do you have?

This info is necessary for us to recommend a monitor.

i have a gaming computer. my card is the evga gtx 1080. i play alot of steam games(path of exile mainly atm) battlefield 1.

As for curved...most folks have decided that it just isn't worth it.

Well, check for reviews from as many sources/sites as you can. I doubt anyone on here owns one.

These companies make decent monitors and seem to stand behind their warranties.

A few games are down in 40fps maxed out. And just gonna get worse.

What about 1440p and higher refresh rate OP?

If you are going for 1440 curved wide screen. You should pay the extra for gsync and 100hz.

Personally I'm not a fan. I like to have multiple monitors instead for multitasking.
