jus got new evga gtx 1080 ftw2 need upgrade monitor should i get a 1440p 144hz gsync or a 4k 60hz i know the 4k 144hz are coming out soon but probable out my price range i mainly netflix d3 fallout 4 gta v skyrim i dont moba or fps so would 144hz and gsync really matter should i go for better res any help appreciated


also should i go flat or curved never had cuved monitor or tv so no experience with them

I honestly would never go back to 60hz again.
I think the pixel density 1440p is sufficient for 27inch.

What is your budget on a monitor?
Curved is fine for monitors because you will be angled perfect. But for TVs it should really just die out, it was more marketing than functional.

the acer might be unrealistic as my monitor sits on top my subwoffer on a nightstand no computer desk
