Corsair dominator platinum DDR3 1866mhz 32gb(8x4)

These any good? I can get them for free from work. I believe the mobo can only take i5/i7 4-5 gens. Is that true?

Is it worth grabbing?? If i don't take them, they will be basically thrown out.

So this z97 is an amd board? Or you just have the amd version?

It's hardware from an old media server we had in one of our theaters. Nice big corsair case. I'll snag a pic tomorrow.

The Z97 is an Intel board. I have the AMD version of the Sabertooth.

As for free stuff, grab it, keep what you want and if the stuff works, sell what you don't want.

Ofc u can build urself a nice i7 build out of that one.

However, i find it kinda snakey to be given something for free and then sell it

how so they are literally throwing it away.
