Hey guys, so my buddy helped peice my computer together , and when we get to trying to install OS (win7) on a USB the drives are showing up in the bios but not when he try's to select a drive.
My motherboard is a MSI Z270 a pro . From reading online it says that MSI has S tool to be downloaded so that the OS can be read. When he tried to download it on the USB via his own computer it still did the same thing.
Can any shed some light ?
Also, is going from windows 7 to upgrade to windows 10 still viable ?
Thanks

via ISO , or as a bootable program. I'm pretty sure it isn't the USB because it's been used to install the OS on other builds.
* update , the ssd is showing up now but it's saying there is a driver missing
