Hey there!

I'm planning to build this pc. The picture is in hungarian so if you don't understand anything feel free to post ^_^ I already have a gtx 970 gpu and a 650W psu. Is there anything that could go wrong or isn't necessary?

you can still use the z170 with kaby lake, you will need a bios update for it though. that being said, your CPU choice is pretty OP compared to the rest of the build as is. i imagine you plan a gaming machine based on the mobo you picked. i'd more recommend a better GPU if this is the case. you have a very solid choice of a cpu to build on, but it's a bit overkill if you aren't planning near future upgrades and additions.

also with a lot of what i've read, if you plan to use the ASUS z170 series boards... the z170-A would be a better option unless you need the extra usb slots.
you don't seem to be using the m.2 slot either. i'm opting my build towards a z270 series because of the 2x m.2 slots that i can utilize. i just don't believe your build will need such a high end CPU.

not quite as easily done as said. for these models you need a skylake cpu compatible with the z170 to update the bios. you would need to borrow one or find a pc shop that may do this for you on-site. some boards i read you can update the bios via usb, but you would have to read about your particular final choice for that.

the biggest thing i'm trying to stress, is i don't believe you need the kaby lake. what do you plan for this future machine outside of gaming with a 970 card?

I don't think im going to do anything else besides gaming. So, if i'm going with the i7-7700k i should get a cpu with z270 chipset, right?

that would definitely be easiest and recommended if you are going with that cpu. the z270-a is what i'm personally looking at for my build as of the moment. the price is pretty good for the options the mobo brings.
