This build below should suit your needs.

Intel Core i5 6500 - $204.99 USD.
MSI Gaming B150 mobo - $94.99 USD.
EVGA GeForce 1070 - $389.99 USD.
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 RAM - $109.99 USD.
EVGA SuperNOVA 550W PSU - $89.99 USD.
Rosewill Computer Case - CHALLENGER - $49.99 USD
SanDisk SSD 120GB - $49.99 USD
WD Blue 1TB Hard Disk Drive - $49.99 USD
Windows 10 - $84.99-104.99. You can get a water marker version of Windows for free from their website. Just need an activation key to remove the water mark.

Total Cost: $1124.91 USD. You'll need to figure out the conversion but I think works out in your favor (less CAN currency). Any questions let me know.

Yeah, I'm currently posting from my phone. I forgot that parts are pricier in other countries.

looks ok, how about swapping the motherboard for a cheaper one and getting a better gpu? or is there a reason you chose that one

most of the reason i picked that mobo is for its highly positive reviews

even if you added 100$ to your budget there is not really a gpu you could upgrade to

1070 or 980ti would be your next step up imo they are both 450$+

you could try getting a used 980 i suppose
