So far, we only have hearsay about the Ryzen chips.
Be easier to vote once we see some unbiased, more complete benchmarks.

except id probably get the 1700x

We will soon know.
But for heavy workload like transcoding and editing the 1700 will be superior.
As for gaming it's hard to tell for now.
