Just curious if you think this is something that won't impact them, will be like a little cut, a severe wound, a deathblow

AMDs Ryzen arcitecture uses less power, outperforms Intels across the board, and is significantly cheaper....

Seems like a deep wound that will finally give us two legitimate processor options again

This obviously assumes that the Cinebench benchmark differentials hold accurate across the board and aren't manipulated

Wouldn't count on it,
It's most likely gonna be like the FX series.
Though I hope amd finally delivers

did you look at multithreaded benches of fx series when it was being leaked?

I'll wait for real numbers not just hand picked leaks

btw every company hypes up their product to make it look good

"According to the slides, these desktop processors look to give Intel's Sandy Bridge latest CPUs a serious run for their money on the graphics side of things, if they may be less impressive on the traditional CPU tasks. On PCMark Vantage, it looks like the eight-core FX "Zambezi" processors can hang with the quad-core Core i7-2600K"

The 2600K takes a fat dump on any amd processor in gaming.

Hopefully it's not the same case for Zen

Also lol at them talking about the IGPU

I hope these do well, I'm just looking at all these hype trains and find it funny how many are forgetting history of these companies

Time will show. But no doubt the Intel will still have better ipc. So it will still performer better in games no matter how many cores and threads ryzen has.

Hopefully intel lowers prices

Their price points have been skyrocketing since they havent had real competition for years
