I want to play around with unreal 4 engine and make my own world in my free time whats the best computer I could make for doing tht? Budget 1000.

Should be fine with a 480 + i5... or hell, I fucked around in unreal with a 480 and a 6300 fx and it was fine. Although, that's the budget version for 1000 could get a more high end card maybe?

Did some research on UE4. Seems to be scaling great with multiple cores and is very cpu dependant when building lighting, shaders and particles.

Can you wait 2 weeks for the release of Ryzen?
AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or 5 1500. Both are 6c/12t price should be 220-270$ which fits your budget.



Most likely won't fit the 1000$ budget. More like a 1100-1400$ budget card
