Hi,

Looking to replace this card, evga gtx580.
If u need more info, please let me know and i'll do my best.

power supply is 950 watt
cpu is 2500k intel
memory(?) is 8gb
hard drive is 500gb ssd and 500gb
mobo is asus P8P67 PRO (REV 3.1)

PC was built with stuff most of the people on this forum recommended so.
I would use this site for the gpu;

simple recommendations gtx 1050ti for lowest power needs (but your psu is good) ,gtx 1060 cheaper then the gtx 1070 will play most if not all games on high settings @ 1080p resolution, gtx 1070 bit more then the gtx 1060 and will play all games @ 1080p on ultra settings also will play most games at 1440p on high settings. if your goal is for 4k reticulation then you should get a gtx 1080 .

I hope this guide helps you bit.

Play a lot of cod zombies and bo3 was my limit it seemed
would like to play bf1 (bf4 was also a bit on the edge it felt like)
playing a bit of the forest now

would like to maybe record some of my gaming, but not for streaming purposes though

not sure if my eyes will notice a difference, but i'd like to upgrade my monitor to a higher hz one, atm using a 60hz one..

im personaly an Msi fan thought Evga is a very close second if not first.

msi:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127947 429.99 Requires 1x 8-pin and 1x 6-pin power connector

evga:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487259 429.99- Strongest card but requires 2 8-pin's Power Connector also is a bigger card-issue if your have smaller case

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487248 409.99 smaller sized card still very good only requires 1 8-pin power connector

There are other msi and evga options if you have any questions pm for faster reply but these 3 are highly rated and 5/5 eggs(starts).
also if these cards are to much i think you would be very fine with a Gtx 1060 as long as you don't play over 1080p (1920x1080 resolution).

RX480 / GTX 1060 3GB is probably all you need unless you're having a pissing contest with yourself and the people here on D2JSP :)

I would definately recommend a modern Nvidia card since you're planning on recording your own gameplay, Shadowplay is the perfect utility for that and is free. All of the encoding is done on a dedicated encoder on the GPU and should have little to no effect on your FPS.
