Not great for an upgrade, but if new build, why not be on the latest chipset.

Because its pointless and extra money for no real performance gains? It is basically just buying the latest to say you have it and buying into Intel's bullshit

True...unless...Intel makes another faster Z270 in the future.

Plus...it has TWO M.2 sockets.

it was a $53 difference for me to swap my 6700k/z170 matx for 7700k/z270 matx

i gained wifi and another m.2 slot

don't tell me it's not worth it :rofl:

And nobody who is serious about gaming is using Wifi
