Brother is Currently running a garbage A8 processor, and a 750ti for graphics.

Looking to get a new processor and motherboard tonight, saving a graphics upgrade for the spring.

Playing mostly Rocket League, CSGO, and possibly streaming in the future.

No preferences other than Intel. Maybe a 6600K?

Edit: Will buy 8gb of ram if there's room.

Looking at a budget of $400. Would it be okay to use a lesser motherboard?

It's possible, but I won't do that. I would just find a way to come up with the rest.
