My 770 just died and i just bought a gtx 1070 to replace it.

my current CPU is a i5 4670k,

will there be any bottleneck? will a simple OC on the CPU work?

thanks

if anything, the GTX 1070 is the Asus Strix 8GB Overclocked from factory.

No bottleneck. But you should overclock if you have a Z motherboard and aftermarket cooler.

You can do mild overclock on a 212 evo. What chipset is that G1 sniper? there are lots of different models.

Z87 chipset i think. Bought it 3 years ago approx.

Not sure how outdated it is? Would there be any benefits of upgrading my motherboard? or should i upgrade the CPU first?

This is for gaming only. ( 1080p 144hz and maybe 1440p in the future )
