i've never built from ground up but have been on and off learning things all over the spectrum.

i've just purchased this video card.

i'm looking to purchase this in cpu shortly

i'm just not sure what to do about a mobo. specifications are so long it's just hard the difference in many of them with varying prices.
i'd rather spend a little more to be prepared for the future where needed if needed.
i'll list any details needed, my brain is just so fried right now.

I would send that video card back, and get a NON Founders Edition video card.

This build has a GTX 1070, you can change it to a GTX 1060 if you want.

/e Generally we ask that you fill out this form, when asking for a build:

Budget:
More specific use (what games, what programs):
Planned time until purchase:
Do you need an Operating System?:
Do you have any specific preferred components?:
Do you need a sound or wireless card?:
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?:
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?:
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs):

i was just curious about mobo's in particular last night. although i do believe the mobo listed in your build would work perfectly.
the gpu has mostly good reviews on newegg for the last 6 months. for the price of $210 i really don't think i can beat it. in the future i may go with different card(s) but it's cheap enough i won't have to hesitate much then.
i purchased the i7 cpu i "thought" i listed in op on newegg's ebay listing for $275 today. i'll list it here since i didn't before.
Intel Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80662I76700K Des

i will likely liquid cool the cpu, i have time to decide as i'm only planning to buy 1 or 2 pieces at a time each week from now until completion.
honestly, right now i'm pretty interested in locking in a case. i'm looking at this one currently but will continue to scope around for the week.

edit: guess you can't list that site here, i'll just put in description.
